This year, Parti and Code for Korea are co-hosting an event focusing on sharing cases of civic tech during protests that followed the martial law declaration last December. https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7403656503699816449 If you happen to be in Seoul on Dec 19th evening - please join us!

As our final event of the year, together with <http://Parti.coop|Parti.coop> we’re hosting a cosy sharing session on civic tech in the time of martial law — remembering the thousands of light sticks that filled the streets last December in South Korea. We’ll look back at how people documented the moment as it unfolded, how data was collected and shared, and how participatory platforms helped connect the square with everyday life. It’s a chance to reflect on the quiet infrastructures - real-time mapping, fact-checking, collective archiving, and shared visual toolkits - that together became forms of civic power. Join us on 19 December for “Civic Tech and the Revolution of Light”, a conversation about how citizens, through documenting, sharing, and organising, helped defend democracy. Sign up here  <https://lnkd.in/gpz96UQB> *event is in Korean
