Hello everyone, I am Ted, the initiator of Taiwan Open Education Develop Unit (TOEDU),
We are a team which cares about the resources of open education
built by students, educators, open source community members.
We recently started a project called "CourseAPI", which is to integrate OpenCourseWare resources,
We're planning to work with the following plan:
1. Using scrapers, to automatically get the metadata of courses from 39 OpenCourseWare platforms.
2. Develop one-site entrance searching platform, provide learners course integrated searching website and assist educators for preparing lessons.
3. Develop API service, provide self-learning development institutions and all kinds of educational institutions to get the data easily.
4. Using the resources of our platform, we could also support educational departments arranging advanced resources.
We also submitted our proposal to the presidential hackathon, and we would like to ask:
