All political activities, including the activities of the National Assembly and local councils, political parties, political associations, gatherings, and demonstrations, are prohibited. 2. Any act that denies or attempts to overthrow the liberal democratic system is prohibited, and the spread of fake news, manipulation of public opinion, and false incitement are forbidden. 3. All media and publications are subject to the control of the Martial Law Command. 4. Strikes, slowdowns, and gatherings that incite social unrest are prohibited. 5. All medical personnel, including medical residents, who are on strike or have left their medical posts must return to their duties within 48 hours and serve diligently. Violators will be punished under martial law. 6. Measures will be taken to minimize inconvenience to the daily lives of ordinary citizens, excluding anti-state forces and system subversion forces. Violators of the above proclamation may be arrested, detained, and searched without a warrant in accordance with Article 9 (Special Measures of the Martial Law Commander) of the Republic of Korea Martial Law, and will be punished in accordance with Article 14 (Penalties) of the Martial Law. Around 4 hours of martial law.. some people must have slept through the whole thing! I think this week and month would be super critical - and a lot of changes will be made fast. (likely resignation or impeachment of the president - and a re-election to come) Thanks for keeping up with the news and caring!

We would like to invite you to share about the project execution and community collaboration process this year. Whether you are a rookie who has just participated in hackathon, co-worked and shared experience with project holders on site; or you are a core project team member who is responsible for proposing goals at hackathons and calling on partners to achieve them together; or you are involved in community activities and work together with others. Everyone is welcome to come to the event to review the process and the feelings to participate in any civil tech event or project (especially at Facing the Ocean)this year and look forward to 2025. (btw there are also 12/24 Christmas hackathon & 1/4 Cyber Defence Against the Dark Arts hackathon that will happened in Taipei NPO HUB! I found that the g0v community is full of energy at the end of the year and the beginning of the year.)
