I just came here to say the same thing ^. Taiwan has been supportive when Japan had earthquakes. Please share all the sources accessible for internationals that lead to donations.

@wildjcrt (kani) lives in Hualien 花蓮. There were a few buildings affected (not collapsed as far as I know). He said he is okay.

I'm not sure if any donation sources are available now, even if there are, the validity must be checked to avoid scams and stuff. Please also be aware of the destination before any donation was made.

I’m glad the building I live in is strong enough.
All classes in Hualien have been suspended, so my wife just came home from school.
It was shaking so hard at first two quakes that everyone ran out and watched downstairs without daring to go home.
There are so many aftershocks. I think it happens in every 3-5 minutes...

I watched news. quake-affected areas could be isolated, but I hope that helpers or volunteers will reach them soon.
Yesterday the railway to north and south were both way stopped. Hualien gov provides buses for alternative transportation. Today the railway are all good.
Hualien doesn’t have high speed rail.
Currently the Provincial Highway 9 (a.k.a Suhua Highway) is broken at Daqingshui tunnel. Our gov expect to provide an old road as temporary road for cars at 4/6 but the build may fix at the end of this year hopefully.

A magnitude 7.2 earthquake that struck Taiwan Wednesday has left four people dead and 57 injured, according to the latest figures compiled by the Central Emergency Operation Center.
Provincial Highway 9 is an important highway across eastern Taiwan from Taipei City to Fangshan, Pingtung, Pingtung County. This provincial highway, at 453.851 km long, is the second-longest provincial highway in Taiwan and passes the regions of Taipei City, New Taipei City, Yilan County, Hualien County, Taitung County and Pingtung County.
