Hi, I host, run, create the international video/audio podcast Save Democracy at savedemocracy.today on youtube and major pod channels, and will be visiting Taipei late Oct and am very very curious about your g0v civic innovations. Would love to host an episode (30min video) offering a group of you the floor to explain what you are up to, why, how it works, and how it's working (range of views welcome!), to an international audience (in English). I can bring coffee and audio recorder and hand held mike. I would just need a volunteer to capture roving smart phone video (on their own phone), and to keep an eye on a mini-tripod mounted stationery smart phone video (my phone). Somewhere with atmosphere but also quiet and not reflective (for good audio) - not a lot of glass or wood. Rugs books and curtains ideal. Can do Oct 29, 30 or 31 at whatever time suits you.
I would be asking the group pretty predictable open ended questions about how it works, and then follow ups based on what you say. It would NOT be live so you can always say Wait - let me repeat that - and do-over something you wish to repeat (our editor will cut the first version) or if I ask a question nobody wants to answer I will pivot to another question and cut the unanswered question in the edit. No pressure here! Just would love to learn about what you are up to! Let me know if any questions. I am originally from Brisbane (Australia) and currently live in Cambridge UK.
