would it be possible to discuss modifying the onebutton templates to include minimally inconvenient english translations? I'm ok to do that work, and then if it seems too cluttered or not work it, then no hard feelings if it's not merged 🙂
to experiment, I could just create copies of the templates, and then assign ownership back. I'd then create a PR pointing to the new templates for discussion 🙂

heh, well in Toronto & Canada, all our funding opportunities seem to be coordinated with tight collab of gov -- lots of "challenge" competitions focussing on problems being faced by government. I'm def not sure whether this is always a good idea, but it's how the ecosystem has been working. My sense is that this is largely due to philosophy of Code for Canada founders.
It seems the g0v grant doesn't have any particular special role for public servants (?), so I was wondering if anyone involved ever says to those inside looking to work with community, "hey, you should try to run project X as a prototype grant". I have no idea how that would work, but just wondering if it's ever happened? Like do public servants ever run prototype grant projects related to their gov work? 🙂

I have observed that some new hackers in recent hacks have suspected that they have finished eating breakfast or lunch. After chatting about the day, they may still have to leave and leave.
