早上我跟 @vivian.chen 和 Protocol Labs 的人開了個會（如果新人還不知道的話 PL 是 IPFS 跟 Filecoin 的團隊，我們對到的是他們的研究單位）對齊一些動機與共識，跟大家報告一下

我們走得比他們快了，他們現在還在封閉式高成功率的 PoC 階段，有鑒於這個實驗如果成功未來可以長得很大，我們現在可以參與的方式是幫他們找類似這樣的實驗案例或場域，這可能得跟 Isabel 多聊一下

@isabelhou 我開車的時候多想了一下怎麼回答妳說 web3 跟 web2 的 ID 或 badge 系統有什麼不同，這邊也貼上來因為我想很多人可能有同樣的問題或是更好的答案

我覺得一句話講是因為 web3 能更有效的做到「公平基礎上的堆疊與激勵」，公平基礎指的是 soul 有機會做到 ID 不會被女巫攻擊或產生其他投機漏洞（一般 web3 項目沒有 soul，所以不是很公平），堆疊是 web2 做不到的（API 的彈性及空間是有限的，或是被控制的），激勵上 web3 因為能創造開放貨幣/資產而不是封閉點數所以比 web2 更有激勵效果，這是我覺得比較完整的答案

好奇問個 ipfs 的技術問題。我本來以為 ipfs 是只要建立 node ，整個 ipfs 的其他 nodes 就會自動分散你的檔案達到讓檔案可以永久被儲存的效果，但剛剛稍微再看了一下，好像他並不會自動，還是要有人下載這個檔案，他才會分擔儲存？那如果都沒人下載的話，這個檔案還是只存在於一個 node 而已不會主動被擴散嗎？

對我的理解是因為 IPFS 並沒有像 Filecoin 這樣的激勵機制去鼓勵下載分散，所以雖然共識是分擔儲存，但實際上可能常有漏洞，我不是技術的人但我下次碰到 IPFS 的人可以幫你問一下。但無論如何整個 web3 產業都同意 IPFS 不是最去中心化的作法，所以才會有像 onchain monkey 這樣的計畫 https://onchainmonkey.com/

如果有誰比較熟的也可以跳進來說一下。

Some thoughts:
• I would love to see more on how you go about the "WHY", namely the goal of a DAO. Instead of just starting a DAO for starting a DAO, how can people position themselves with an accurate mission statement that fits them the best?
• On tokenomics - If there's no token in place, is it still a DAO? What are the necessities for DAOs to have tokens? (Cuz people can def vote and participate without token, so why is this section important and how does it make a DAO different?)
yes I can elaborate more on the why! Tokens are just a tool for a DAO infrastructure to be built upon. It's better to delay launching a token imo until the use case is super clear, migration is costly and inconvenient. @noah226 had a great comment on why web3 from the last meeting - other than the obvious use case of rewards, governance and reputation, it is also permission-less system that anyone can build on top of, which is very inline with g0v's values

Lessons and frameworks from starting DAOs

After some experience with starting a few DAOs, being part of a few, seen some collapse, some blossom (Bu Zhi DAO), recently volunteered to help with another DAO with a great cause so wanted to write up a general yet opinionated framework for starting DAOs, thought it’d be a great idea to share publicly as well!

mintkudos looks amazing, I’ll do some more research on it. If you think we can try it I’d love to talk to the founders, I’m currently thinking if it’s possible for this to integrate into our future efforts with SBT and DID, on the other hand also wonder how many are using them, POAP does have some network effect that might or might not be relevant to our future endeavor, what do you think?

the founders are coming to TBW too so, let me ask/research about the value prop between mintkudos vs poap before suggesting it
the time of the event, probably more feasible for speakers living on East coast to speak around 8 or 8:30 am

I haven’t tried using kudos yet, a couple of quick thoughts
• I thought the peer-verified way is a clever way to make SBTs (or NTTs) credible, we should take that with us for future designs of DeSoc
• It seems we need to WL the wallet addresses first to use Kudos, this might be a little hard for physical event proof of attendance like the one we’re having, but I think this can be perfect for our future endeavors
• I still am a little fuzzy on structured SBTs vs completely open SBTs like Kudos, structured ones make it easier to build trust, unstructured ones make it easier to scale, maybe a mix can be a good solution, this might be clearer after our research
• With kudos APIs this should be pretty easy to build upon, loving it
For now if you agree I think because of the limitation with whitelisted wallets we might want to go for POAP for physical event this time, what do you think?
Actually no whitelist needed, there's another open claim option, if you're interested, I can connect the founder to run a demo for you and ask questions! (Or we can just use POAP haha up to you!)

I think the community had a preference towards eco-friendly ones, other than that none. Optimism is one that has a strong culture on public goods, but that's just an observation 💪
Just minted! One potential problem w polygon or other L2 is it would require some MATICs or sth else, other than that seems quite perfect
And yes would love to chat with founder to understand its full potential, and how we can use it in the future 💪

這幾次會議因為都有新人參加，跟他們聊過發現主要有兩個小障礙，一是不知道怎麼貢獻，二是對項目或領域背景知識不足，二我們永遠都可以在會後留下來聊聊或是增加會議筆記的深度，對一我想我可以把我們目前需要的人力不時列出來，讓大家知道我們哪些坑需要人

1. 視覺平面設計：da0 logo & identity
2. 使用者研究員：去中心化社會方案的使用者訪談
3. 智能合約工程師：希望能早點 involve 工程師在未來的架構上
當然就算你不符合上述我們也非常歡迎你來，誰知道什麼時候會需要什麼，或是起了什麼坑對吧

(Not a graphic designer obviously) 因為還找不到設計師來跳坑所以先給大家看一些概念方向，黑白是刻意的，我們可以先做形的選擇再做顏色的選擇，這樣會比較順暢，最後當然會請正常的設計師再做優化

我們週五開會時投票選方向，現在如果還有誰有什麼概念想要嘗試可以自己畫一下或是跟我說，在週五前可以趕出來

幾個重點提一下，左半邊是用跟 g0v 相同字型，細字體相對比較現代（但我會不小心想到化妝品），A 就照 @mashbean 將 g0v 的 V 反過來的設計（也嘗試了 @billy3321 的以太 logo 借用設計），設計重點都放在零的重塑，多中心、堆疊等在零裡展現。右半邊是不延續 g0v 的想法，web3 的主要早期核心文化之一是點陣（cryptopunk, moonbirds 等），點陣也有樂高堆疊的感覺，右中嘗試的是零的 optical illusion，代表 da0 希望創造無限正向循環的意思，最後只是試一下最近在用的字體

我們先做發散，週五會議在做收斂，有其他想法想試試的歡迎跟我說

I think we can use da0 logo and “powered by g0v”. The usage of g0v logo is kind of complicated and sensitive (we can talk about this in Friday’s meeting).

我想試試一個我之前試過覺得效果不賴，好玩一點的方法讓大家都有機會可以各自發表想法，

主要有四個部分，

一、
We are da0, here to supercharge g0v.
零時道，為零時政府開闢一條前往web3的道路

Supercharge 有點難翻譯（教育部辭典是增壓），所以我從零時道的字義逕行延伸為「道路」

二、
and we dream of democratic liberty.
我們有一個夢，一群嚮往自由民主的自主行動

「自主」的擴寫叫做「自由民主」。自主也有做自己的主人公之意
然後我有一個夢改成「我們」，是延伸自馬丁路德金恩博士的演講「I Have a Dream」XD

三、
yet respect past successes.
追尋文化共識，而非謀求工具尋租

這邊我想 Noah 的意思是尊重the old good glory，並且從昨天的會議採用 Isabel 對於「公益、公民」的正道，所以將工具尋租放進來與文化共識做對照。如果擴寫成長版，就是「追尋零時文化共識，而非謀求web3工具尋租」。尋租文化除了是平台資本主義目前的弊病，也是web3世界正在慢慢出現的潛在危險。g0v是離這件事較遠了，我想可以特別強調。至於要用長版還是短板，都可以！

四、
we will survive, we will progress, we will fit in.
da0持續與台灣一同共融、迭代、擬合。

這邊我將詞彙改成相對geek一點，
survive寫成「共融」，讓多元族群可以在數位社會都過得還不錯。
progress寫成「迭代」，除了成長，也從一次次的版本中進步，這也符合Noah想要強調的「堆疊」之概念
fit in寫成「擬合」，這是人工智慧學術用語，是演算法在預測實際世界時，可以正確預測，卻又不會過於偏向於某些特殊案例。我想web3工具的通用性，也很適合使用擬合這個概念，而擬合的重要前提，便是要不斷迭代，創造通用世界的共融。

1. 未來擴張性強彈性大
2. 網頁即可進入門檻低
3. 他們在可見未來都會 cover gas fee
4. OpenSea 可檢視
5. have access to founding team with possible customizations, personally I like partners, and they do have a close relationship to Taiwan, resonates with the mission of g0v

mintkudos 不知道有沒有這樣的機制，或是一定要有對方的 id
乍看我覺得兩者並不互斥
如果參加者還沒有 wallet，mintkudos 就沒法用了 (多數活動參與者)
而領 POAP 後參加者可以再決定要不要弄個 wallet
我覺得 mintkudos 比較適合做 DAO 工具(已經都有wallet)，而不是一般活動參與者
當然幾年後大家都有 wallet 狀況就不一樣了
Mintkudos 有兩種，一種就是開放領取，一個 QRcode 帶到網頁領取，一種先白名單特定錢包地址，網頁讓白名單錢包可以領取

1. 協作方式：我目前正在搜集各種 DAO 的治理模式，試圖找到一些我們可以參考的範例讓我們可以在下週三討論，目前參考的有 Vitalik 文章內 UkraineDAO 和 @taipeicity.eth 的 BZD，當然還會參考更多，希望對協作和治理方式有想法的朋友可以在這先提，這樣我們開會更有效率，這邊 tag 幾位我覺得應該有不少資訊的 @isabelhou @taipeicity.eth @mashbean @stamford.hwang @vivian.chen would be best if we can hear from more!

Since SBT is intended to incentivize, what variables should we measure, how are the considerations different? How should we design emission and burning? Just wanted to throw it out there and pick your brilliant brains 🧠
Hey @noah226, I do love SBTs. They just feel so meaningful. If you look at SBTs like a PoAP but more significant, then with incentivisations we are really talking about a merit system and tokengating digital activity.
I’m not sure where G0v stand on hierarchies like this. I can enter the ‘gold digital lounge’ (or whatever) because I have - particular SBT.

Maybe it’s better to stick to the incentivisation or social status. Make it a project success based token. With emotion award by the community to ‘successful’ projects.
Or for investors who support the community a lot.
I’d like to talk more deeply about how to incentivise participants.

我想到的一個 feedback 是協作層本身跟各個坑主會怎麼互動，for example，如果今天是一個入了 3 個坑的協作層，那我是要固定跟三個坑主回報嗎？如果這樣是不是會有一人入多坑，沒有辦法 handle 人力配置的狀況？
Great question! 我的想像是協作層主要的工作是整合導入資源跟處理共識，所以協作層的負責團隊應該跟所有坑主會固定開會，可能會給予建議或協助研究，但不會干擾坑的決策，因為不參與坑的實際執行（除非協作層的人自己跳坑，那就是個人 capacity 問題，而不是協作層的問題）所以沒有人力配置的問題，不過如果協作層找到資源，資源配置可能會是個仍待討論的問題

我這邊提一下想法大家可以看看覺得如何

• ideas 我們目前就以 slack 為討論工具
• 會議紀錄仍然是 HackMD
• 我在 da0 hackmd menu 開了一個新的 section 叫 0IP，如果未來有提案都可以在這個 section 提案
• 0IP 提案在特別啟動的 Google Meet 會議與所有坑主討論，並達成共識，結論會寫回 HackMD 的 0IP section
• 分工合作以 Trello 為主，主要原因是對參與者進入門檻最低
有想法請隨時提～
